Chancellor to announce new £39bn AHP, 10-year rent settlement, and consultation on rent convergence

The chancellor of the exchequer is expected to announce a 10-year rent settlement for the social housing sector and a new £39bn Affordable Homes Programme (AHP) spanning the same period, in today’s Spending Review.
