Subscription FAQs

Our team is here to answer any questions you may have about your subscription, submitting stories for consideration for the editorial team or to chat with you about any advertising opportunities.

I'd like to take out a subscription. How can I do this?

You can see details of our subscription packages here. You can subscribe directly through our website.

Can I order more than one subscription?

Yes, and we can offer you a discount for taking out a group or corporate subscription. If you’d like more details, you can contact our team here at 0207 772 8440 or enquire by email to enquiries@socialhousing.co.uk

How can I renew my subscription?

If you have a live personal subscription, you won’t have to do anything as your subscription will automatically renew.

 

If you’re part of a group or corporate subscription, you can contact our reps via phone 0207 772 8440 or via email, subscriptions@socialhousing.co.uk to discuss renewing your subscription.

Can I still access the website without subscribing?

Yes, but your access will be limited to an article a week. For this, you’ll need to register an account with us here.

Can I change my personal details on the subscription?

You can change your email and delivery address by logging into your account. Go to “My Account” and select Subscriptions.

Alternatively, you can get in touch with our customer services team on subscriptions@socialhousing.co.uk. Please make sure to let us know what details you would like to change. 

What happens if I need to change the name on my subscription?

You cannot change the name on personal subscriptions. If you have a corporate subscription, please contact us on 0207 772 8440 or email to enquiries@socialhousing.co.uk.

We are part of a group subscription and need to add a subscriber. How will we be charged for it?

You can add a subscriber at any time that your current group subscription is valid with us. To find out how, and how you will be charged, please contact us on 0207 772 8440 or email to enquiries@socialhousing.co.uk

We are part of a group subscription and need to change the name of one subscription to a different team member.

To change the name of a user within your corporate subscription, email subscriptions@socialhousing.co.uk or call: 0207 772 8440. Our customer services team will be able to help you process the name change on the subscription.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Please note we do not cancel subscriptions per our terms and conditions, but on a group subscription a user can be removed.

Can I share my account with others?

Your subscription is for your use only. You may not share your username and password with anyone else. As per our terms and conditions, we do not permit subscribers to share their account with any one else.

Can I take out a subscription to outside the UK?

Yes, you can take out a subscription outside the UK. To subscribe please click the link here.

How can I pay for my subscription?

You can pay for your subscription by debit or credit card when checking out online.

Can I pay in currencies other than the GBP (£)?

You can pay in currencies other than GBP (£). Please note that exchange rates apply.

My company needs an invoice before paying for the subscriptions. How can I get one?

We can send you an invoice for your subscription. Please contact us by email subscriptions@socialhousing.co.uk where our customer services team can provide you with one.

I've forgotten my password. How can I reset it?

As you try to log in, you’ll find a “Reset Password” button in red. Click this, and it’ll ask to confirm your email address. Follow the instructions after you’ve confirmed your email address. If the problem persists, you can contact us on 0207 772 8440 or email us at subscriptions@socialhousing.co.uk.

Can I share an article with a colleague?

You can share the link with your colleague. However, your colleague will only be able to read the article if they’re registered or subscribed to Social Housing.

I’m sure I have a subscription, but the site is telling me that I don’t – why is this?

There may be a few reasons why this is happening, but we advise you to ensure that you've registered an account with us before attempting to log into your subscriber account. You can register here.

If you receive the same error message as before, please call us on 0207 772 8440 or email to subscriptions@socialhousing.co.uk, and our customer services team will diagnose the problem.

Can I update my newsletter preferences?

You can update your individual preferences by clicking through to your account, and into the Newsletters.

I’ve checked my newsletter preference but am not receiving them.

We would recommend checking your Junk/Spam folder. If you’ve not listed our newsletters as a safe sender, they are likely to be there.

If they are not in your Junk/Spam folder, please contact us by phone 0207 772 8440 or email us your query to enquiries@socialhousing.co.uk, and our team will look into this for you.
