What is a virtual event?

A virtual event is where delegates experience the event and its content online rather than gathering in-person. You’ll be able to watch sessions in real-time, build your own agenda, access recordings of the sessions after the event, and interact with other delegates.

How do I attend the conference?

Social Housing Finance Conference 2020 will take place as a virtual event. Once you have booked your ticket, you’ll receive a confirmation email and will be provided with a link to access all sessions.

What if I can’t attend on the scheduled date(s)?

All the keynote sessions, presentations and discussions will be available on the virtual conference portal post event. Even if you are unable to attend some or all of the live conference, you can still avail of the learning in your own time.

My colleague has already booked a ticket, can I use their log-in to attend?

Unfortunately only one person can log in to the conference per email address. All attendees will need an individual registration. Booking for our virtual event will be available soon, you can register your interest to be notified when this is available here.

What networking opportunities are available?

Networking is a crucial part of any event, which is why we’re ensuring that it is readily available in a virtual format. More details will be available soon.

How do I access the conference once I’ve registered?

The virtual conference portal will be available in the coming weeks. You’ll receive a link to the portal where you can plan your day and save session reminders to your calendar.

How can I access the presentations following the event?

All sessions will be available on demand via the conference portal. You will receive a log-in to the virtual conference portal in the coming weeks.

Do I need to download a software to attend?

You won’t need to download any software. You will receive a link which you will be able to gain access to all the sessions from.

What if I have technical difficulties and I miss a session?

All sessions will be available through the conference portal. Delegates will receive log-in details to gain access to the portal.

Will I receive training on how to use the software before the event?

You will receive joining instructions before the conference. This will include details how to navigate around the platform.
