Zafrin Khan-Wheatley

Zafrin is a passionate leader with a track record of delivering success in the housing, development, statutory and non-profit sectors over 15 years. Initially working as a technical expert partnering with internal teams and budget holders, she now oversees a team of over 30 skilled professionals responsible for financial reporting and business partnering on the L&Q Group’s Development and Sales activities. She also works extensively with external stakeholders, including through membership of multiple joint venture and partnership boards.

She is an enthusiastic coach and team builder. Over the past few years Zafrin has overseen a three-fold expansion of her team. She has supported colleagues through several organisational re-structures as well as a merger, and is proud to lead a committed and highly motivated multi-professional team.

Zafrin has been recognised for championing equality and diversity within the Finance directorate and across the wider business. She is a member of the L&Q’s gender equality network, Inspire, and was previously the Treasurer.

As well as being a published thought leader on housing matters, in 2018 she was awarded the Finance Professional of the Year at the Chartered Institute of Housing-sponsored Women in Housing awards.
